I can’t remember what inspired this piece, but I’m certain I must have been looking at snowy art and had this urge to do a winter scene myself. I had never painted snow before, so I knew it would be something good to test my color theory, to be able to create bright patches of snow that stand out. This was a lot of fun to paint.
